“We tried everything, but an agreement on key points is not possible,” Nehammer said in an interview with ORF. He stressed that Austria couldn’t have a positive future without a clear foundation for the government.
Beate Meinl-Reisinger, leader of the Neos party, expressed frustration over the lack of progress. She highlighted that key reforms could not be agreed upon. Meinl-Reisinger confirmed that Neos would no longer participate in the talks, making coalition-building even more difficult.
